Optical disc ICs Headphone amplifier with intemal LPF and EVR for CD-ROM BH3540AFS The BH3540A4FS is an H/P amplifier with internal secondary LPF and EVR circuits. When multibit output fromaD/A converter is input, the secondary LPF outputs an audio signal. Output level for headphones can be changed with the EVR circuit. This IC also has independent internal mute circuits for the left and right channels. @ Applications CD-ROM drives and other products (with line and headphone output pins) that process digital audio signals @Features 1) Internal LPF, line amplifier and EVR. 4) No atlached oscillation prevention components are 2) Internal mute function. needed, aven ata load of 82. 3) Internal thermal shutdown circuit. 5) Mute function reduces the popping noises that can occur when the power is turned on and off. @Block diagram s a a av @ Zz a PO o uy co nm z oO [=] f=] [=] fe] fe] f=) [et FE] z Oo LINED | 13 4 c = m NS MUTE1 | 14 w = c 3 m LS) INI = a = Mm BIAS 16 g z a Too oe 142 ROAMOptical disc ICs @Absolute maximum ratings (Ta=25C) @Recommended operating conditions _ BH3540AFS Parameter Symbot Limits Unit Parameter Symbol} Min. | Typ. | Max. | Unit Power supply vollage Voc 6.5 v Power supply voltage Veo | 45 | 55 | Vv Powar dissipation Pd 500* "mW Operating temperature Topr 10~75 Storage tamperature Tstg 55~125 c * Rladucad by 5.0 mW for each Increase in Ta of 1C over 25C. @Electrical characteristics (unless otherwise noted, Ta=25,, Vec=5.0V, line Au=50kO,H/P Re=320, Vin=1.6dBYV, f=1kHz, EVR=Max,) Parameter Symbol Min.
