This audit checklist is designed to help you perform an electrical safety audit of your facility. Though there
may be multiple Woodhead® solutions to a particular non-compliant condition, only basic Woodhead part numbers are listed in this document.
Contact your local Woodhead sales representative for expert assistance in choosing the best solution for you.
This checklist, and any safety seminar presented on behalf of Woodhead should be considered just one component of a thorough, well planned and executed safety program
at your facility. When used and maintained properly under normal operating conditions, these Woodhead products comply with applicable COHSR and CEC standards.

Working Together For A Safer Workplace
Since 1922, the industry has relied on Woodhead product solutions from Molex to develop
and manufacture the highest quality electrical safety products for demanding environments.
Canadian Electrical Code
The CEC was created and is amended every 3 years by the Committee on the Canadian
Electrical Code, Part 1. Similar Committees create many standards that are used for safety in
all aspects of industry. This code is adopted by Provincial Authorities Having Jurisdiction then
legislated into law in each province, in part or in whole.
COHSR
The Canadian Occupational Health and Safety Regulations come from the Canadian Labour
Code and are commonly called the Statutes of Regulation or SOR. These SORs are intended
to provide workers in specific areas direction on how to work safely and have the proper
safety equipment to maintain a safe work environment. Although not directly measured, the
COHSR has been a major contributor to the reduction on work-related injuries in Canada.
Employers
Employers ultimately have the legal responsibility
to provide a safe workplace for their employees.
