Associated with its coded magnet P2000100 and a monitoring unit capable to watch 1 contact "O" ( NO, closed with magnet ) and 1 contact "C" ( NC, opened with magnet ), it complies with European directives to conform machines according to norms EN 60204 - EN 1088 - EN 954; with the appropriate monitoring unit, it can perform safety function of category 3 or 4 according to EN 954 " Safety of machinery ". Safety functions : Fraud : the sensor, associated with its coded magnet P2000100, allows to reduce possibilities of fraudulent actions; Standard magnet cannot actuate the sensor. Redundancy : Components are redundant. If one of parts of the sensor is defective , the redundant circuit goes on running. Discordance : A monitoring unit will check if the sensor signals come up in a specific order. If not, an alarm will be given. Activation next to magnetic parts : magnetic material used near the magnet or the sensor alters switching airgaps. In any ca se, use an insulating block. In the same way, it's recommended to respect a minimal distance of about 2,5 mm between the componants. The sensor must not be used as a mechanical stop. Operating cycle : when the magnet comes near the sensor, contact "O" is closing after contact "C" has opened. when the magnet moves away, contact "O" is opening before contact "C" has closed. In order to reset the sensor after switching or default, move the magnet away of more than 20 mm. magnet moving cases in line : d1 = d2 = 0 movement d1 = 7 max movement d2 = 5 max movement e1 = 7 max movement e2 = 7 max e1 e2 h : closing d2 d1 10 9 6 6 6 sensor NEXT TO magnet "printed side" P2000100 h "printed side" PXS . . . .0 "h" and "g" (closing) = max airgaps functional detection.
