Metcal is pleased to add the Solder Ball Placement Kit
to its Convecon Rework accessory range.
Reworking small chip components like 01005,
0201, 0402 and 0602s are difficult and require
specialized tools.
Metcal has developed a technique and
idenfied a selecon of tools that enable the
operator to rework these small components
with repeatability and consistency.
The Solder Ball Placement Kit includes
the tools necessary to rework small chip
components.
The kit contains:
• 2000 each of .04mm, .06mm, .08mm, & .10mm solder balls with container
• 4 ESD-safe carbon fiber reinforced oilers; black 0.2mm, blue 0.3mm, green 0.5mm, and
red 0.8mm
• 1 part posioning matrix and squeegee
• 1 PEEK spudger
• 1 bent tweezers
• 1 half tweezers
• 1 5000 grit sharpening stone
