MATERIAL DESCRIPTION: Molded polyoxymethylene (POM) shapes. UL94 HB rated zero halogen material.
USE: Identification of wires and small cables using individual characters, including fiber
optic cables. Characters are side-entry installed using an applicator wand, so
allowing identification after termination and/or installation. Snap-on markers have
an expanding profile which enables markers to accommodate a wide range of
wire/cable sizes. Markers are supplied chevron cut to ensure legend remains
aligned.
SIZE RANGE: 11 sizes to accommodate wire/cable diameters from 1 to 19mm (0.04 to 0.75
inches).
COLORS/MARKING: White or yellow markers with black characters (A - Z, 0 - 9 and symbols).
European color coded markers with white or black characters (0 to 9) also available.
Black markers with white characters available for outdoor use (UV stabilized
material).
SERVICE TEMPERATURE:
-40°C to +106°C (-40°F to +223°F).
CHEMICAL RESISTANCE: Generally resistant to sea water, detergents (10% aqueous), fuels, oils, white and
industrial spirit.
