DESCRIPTION
The PCA-116 Series gage heads were developed to serve less demanding applications, where the balance
between price and performance is paramount. Incorporating a standard LVDT (Linear Variable Differential
Transformer), low fr iction nylon sl eeve bearings and an ex ternally sprin g loaded shaft, the PC A-116 affor ds the
most cost effective gaging solution available. Other features include industry standard outer diameter for easy
installation, a nd a replac ea ble hard ene d tool steel contact tip using the 4-48 UNF-2A threads.
Like in most of our LVDTs, the PCA-116 windings are vacuum impregnated with a specially formulated, high
temper ature, flexib le resin, and the c oil ass embly is po tted insi de its hous ing with a two-com ponent ep oxy. This
provides ex cell ent pr otection against hos ti le en viro nments s uch as high humidity, vibration and shock.
