DESCRIPTION
The Model 82 is a 19 m m small profile, media compatible,
piezoresistive silicon pressure sensor packaged in a 316L
sta in l ess stee l h ou sing. Th e Mo d el 82 is d es ig n e d for O - ri n g
mounting. The sensing pack age utilizes silicone oil to transf er
pressur e fr om the 316L stainless steel di aphragm to the sensing
element.
The Model 82 i s designed for high performance, low
pressure applications. A ceramic substr ate is attached to the
packag e that contains la ser-trimmed resistors for temperature
compensation and offset correction. An additional laser-
trimmed resistor is included which can be used to adjust an
ex te rn a l d iff e ren t ia l ampli f ie r an d p rovide sp a n
inte rchangeability to within ±1%.
Sensors with threaded pressure fit tings, weldable flush
sen so rs and hi gh pres su re st a in l ess stee l sen s o rs are also

5. 15 psi range sensors have an offset temperature error of ±0.75%

9. Maximum temperature range for product with standard cable and
