Produktbeschreibung
Die PRO-Optionen dienen der komfortableren Handhabung und Bedienung Ihres SIMATIC PRO-Geräts.
Die folgende Abbildung zeigt ein Beispiel für die PRO-Optionen "Haltegriffe", "Tastaturablage" und "Ablageblech" in
Verbindung mit einem SIMATIC PRO-Gerät und einer Extension Unit an einem Tragarmsystem.
Konvention
In diesem Dokument wird stellvertretend für ein PRO-Gerät mit 16:9-Display auch der Oberbegriff "Gerät" verwendet.

Sicherheitshinweise
Es gelten die Sicherheitshinweise in der Dokumentation der Geräte, an welche die PRO-Option angebaut ist. Beachten Sie
zusätzlich die folgendenden Hinweise.
VORSICHT
Arretierungsbolzen der Tastaturablage immer einrasten
Die Neigungsposition der Tastaturablage ist stufenweise verstellbar und wird über einen Arretierungsbolzen gesichert.
Wenn der Arretierungsbolzen der Tastaturablage nicht oder nicht vollständig einrastet, kann die Tastaturablage nach unten
kippen. Personen- oder Sachschaden durch herabfallende Teile kann die Folge sein.
Achten Sie darauf, dass der Arretierungsbolzen vollständig einrastet, sobald sich die Tastaturablage in der gewünschten
Neigungsposition befindet.
ACHTUNG
Belastbarkeit der Tastaturablage
Die Tastaturablage darf mit maximal 2 kg belastet werden.
Das Abstellen von Lasten > 2 kg und das Aufstützen an der Tastatur oder Tastaturablage ist nicht zulässig.
Montage vorbereiten
Voraussetzungen
Entfernen Sie vor der Montage alle Verpackungsbestandteile und Schutzfolien.
Für die Montage benötigen Sie:
● Das Befestigungsmaterial aus den Beipacks
● Den unteren Deckel oder den Basisadapter aus dem Lieferumfang Ihres PRO-Geräts
● Einen Schraubendreher T20

Haltegriffe vormontieren
Die Haltegriffe können auf einen Abstand im Bereich von 424 mm bis 622 mm eingestellt werden.
Gehen Sie wie folgt vor:
1.
Bringen Sie die Haltegriffe in die gewünschte
Position.
2.
Verschrauben Sie die Haltegriffe über die 4
mitgelieferten Schrauben M4x20,
Drehmoment 1,5 Nm
Tastaturablage vormontieren
USB-Schnittstellen montieren
Sie können an der Vorderseite der Tastaturablage 1-2 USB-Schnittstellen mit Artikelnummer 6AV7674-1LX00-0AA0
einbauen. Die zugehörigen Öffnungen sind im Lieferzustand mit entsprechenden Abdeckungen von innen verschraubt.
ACHTUNG
Frontseitige Öffnungen für USB-Schnittstellen und rückseitige Öffnungen für Leitungsverschraubungen
Die frontseitig verschraubten Öffnungen sind ausschließlich für den Einbau der USB-Schnittstelle mit Artikelnummer
6AV7674-1LX00-0AA0 vorgesehen. Der mit der USB-Schnittstelle gelieferte Einbaudeckel wird nicht benötigt.
Bauen Sie die frontseitigen USB-Schnittstellen ein, bevor Sie die Tastaturablage an einem PRO-Gerät oder an einer
Extension Unit montieren.
Ist im Betrieb ein USB-Stecker mit der USB-Schnittstelle verbunden, dann ist die Schutzart IP65 nicht mehr erfüllt. Um
Schutzart IP65 auch im Betrieb zu gewährleisten, verwenden Sie die Öffnungen an der Rückseite der Tastaturablage. Die
rückseitigen Öffnungen sind für handelsübliche Leitungsverschraubungen mit Gewinde M20x1,5 geeignet. Beachten Sie
die jeweils zugehörige Dokumentation.
Gehen Sie zur Montage einer frontseitigen USB-Schnittstelle wie folgt vor:
1.
Lösen sie die Mutter der USB-Abdeckung an
der Innenseite der Tastaturablage.
2.
Entfernen Sie die Abdeckung.
3.
Setzen Sie die USB-Schnittstelle in die
Öffnung.
4.
Befestigen Sie die USB-Schnittstelle. Ziehen
Sie die zugehörige Mutter mit einem
Drehmoment von 10 Nm an.

Montage
Haltegriffe montieren
Dieses Kapitel beschreibt, wie Sie die Haltegriffe an einem PRO-Gerät oder in Kombination mit einer Extension Unit /
Extension Unit box montieren. Die meisten Abbildungen zeigen die Montage an einem PRO-Gerät für Tragarm (erweiterbar,
Rundrohr) mit einem unteren Deckel. Die Montage an einem PRO-Gerät für Standfuß (erweiterbar, Flansch unten) mit
einem Basisadapter erfolgt in gleicher Weise. Verwenden Sie in diesem Fall statt des abgebildeten unteren Deckels den
Basisadapter und beachten Sie das zugehörige Drehmoment für die Schrauben des Basisadapters.
Haltegriffe von unten oder oben direkt an einem Gerät montieren
Hinweis
Die in der rechten Abbildung dargestellte Montagevariante der Griffe von oben ist die einzig zulässige Montagevariante an
einem PRO
-Gerät für Tragarm (nicht erweiterbar, Flansch oben). Die Montage einer Extension Unit oder einer
Tastaturablage oberhalb eines PRO
-Geräts für Tragarm (erweiterbar, Flansch oben) ist
nicht
zulässig.

Wenn Sie statt des unteren Deckels einen Basisadapter verwenden, dann gilt für die 4 Schrauben des Basisadapters:

Einsatzmöglichkeiten der USB-Tastatur
Für die USB-Tastatur haben Sie z. B. folgende Einsatzmöglichkeiten:
● USB-Tastatur als Tischtastatur verwenden.
● USB-Tastatur auf dem Tastaturablageblech einer Tastaturablage platzieren.
● USB-Tastatur direkt an der Tastaturablage montieren.
In dieser Variante ist die USB-Tastatur am besten gegen Herunterfallen gesichert.
Die notwendigen Schrauben sind im Lieferumfang der Tastaturablage enthalten.

Vorgehensweise
Die folgende Vorgehensweise beschreibt die Montage der IP65-Tastatur an der Tastaturablage anhand einer
schematischen Abbildung.
1. Setzen Sie die USB-Tastatur wie abgebildet
auf die Tastaturablage.
2.
Befestigen Sie die USB-Tastatur wie
abgebildet mit 4 Schrauben M4x10 und
Drehmoment 1,5 Nm an der Tastaturablage.

USB-Verlängerung mit M20-Verschraubung montieren
Vorgehensweise
Die folgende Vorgehensweise zeigt schematisch, wie Sie die USB-Verlängerung mit M20-Verschraubung an der
Tastaturablage montieren.
1. Drehen Sie die Abdeckung einer rückseitigen
M20-Öffnung der Tastaturablage heraus.
2.
Führen Sie den USB-Stecker der USB-
Verlängerung durch die M20-Öffnung der
Tastaturablage.
3.
Ziehen Sie die Mutter am Außengewinde der
M20-Verschraubung mit einem Drehmoment
von 10 Nm fest.
4.
Um ein USB-Gerät anzuschließen, entfernen
Sie die Abdeckkappe der USB-Verlängerung
und schließen Sie ein passendes USB-Gerät
an.
Wenn sie ein USB-Gerät mit IP6x-Stecker an
der USB-Buchse der USB-Verlängerung
anschließen, dann verschrauben Sie USB-
Stecker und USB-Buchse mit einem
Drehmoment von 8 Nm.

Safety information
The safety information in the documentation of the devices to which the PRO option is added applies. In addition, read the
following information.
CAUTION
Always fully engage the locking pin of the keyboard tray
The tilt position of the keyboard tray can be adjusted incrementally and is secured by a locking pin. If the locking pin of the
keyboard tray is not engaged or not fully engaged, the keyboard tray can tip downwards. This can result in personal injury
or property damage from falling objects.
Ensure that the locking pin engages fully once the keyboard tray is in the desired tilt position.
NOTICE
Maximum loading of keyboard tray
The keyboard tray can be loaded with a maximum of 2 kg.
Do not place loads of more than 2 kilograms on the keyboard or the keyboard tray or rest on them.
Preparing for mounting
Requirements
Before mounting, remove all packaging components and protective films.
You need the following for mounting:
● The fastening materials from the accessory kit
● The bottom cover or base adapter from the product package of your PRO device
● A T20 screwdriver

Preassembling the handles
The handles can be positioned between 424 mm and 622 mm apart.
Proceed as follows:
1.
Bring the handles to the desired position.
2.
Fasten the handles with the 4 supplied screws
M4x20, torque 1.5 Nm
Preassembling the keyboard tray
Mounting the USB ports
You can install 1-2 USB ports with article number 6AV7674-1LX00-0AA0 on the front of the keyboard tray. In delivery state,
the associated openings are screwed to corresponding covers from the inside.
NOTICE
Front openings for USB ports and rear openings for cable glands
The screwed openings on the front are provided exclusively for installation of the USB port with article number
6AV7674-1LX00-0AA0. The fitted cover supplied with the USB port is not needed.
Install the front USB ports before mounting the keyboard tray on a PRO device or Extension Unit.
If a USB connector is connected to the USB port during operation, the IP65 degree of protection is no longer fulfilled. To
guarantee IP65 degree of protection during operation, use the openings on the rear of the keyboard tray. The rear
openings are suitable for standard cable glands with thread M20x1.5. Observe the related documentation in each case.
Proceed as follows to mount a USB port on the front:
1.
Loosen the nut of the USB cover on the inside
of the keyboard tray.
2.
Remove the cover.
3.
Place the USB port into the opening.
4.
Fasten the USB port. Tighten the associated
nut with a torque of 10 Nm.

Mounting
Mounting the handles
This section describes how to mount the handles on a PRO device or in combination with an Extension Unit /
Extension Unit box. Most of the figures show the mounting on a PRO device for support arm (extensible, round tube) with a
bottom cover. Mounting on a PRO device for pedestal (extendable, flange bottom) with a base adapter is carried out in the
same way. In this case, instead of the bottom cover shown in the figure, use the base adapter and apply the torque for the
screws of the base adapter.
Mounting handles from below or above directly on a device
Note
The mounting of handles from above as shown in the figure on the right is the only permissible mounting variant on a PRO
device for support arm (not extendable, flange t
op). The mounting of an Extension Unit or a keyboard tray above a PRO
device for support arm (extendable, flange top) is not
permissible.
Mounting handles between device and Extension Unit / Extension Unit box
If you use a base adapter instead of the bottom cover, the following torque applies to the 4 screws of the base adapter:
Torque 2.5 Nm.

Mounting the keyboard tray
The following figure shows how to mount the keyboard tray on a PRO device or an Extension Unit / Extension Unit box.
Mounting on a PRO device for pedestal (extendable, flange bottom) with a base adapter is carried out in the same way. In
this case, instead of the bottom cover shown in the figure, use the base adapter and apply 2.5 Nm torque for associated
screws.
Mounting keyboard tray and handles
This section describes how to mount the keyboard tray and handles on a PRO device or in combination with an
Extension Unit / Extension Unit box. The figures show the mounting on a PRO device for support arm (extendable, flange
bottom) with a bottom cover. Mounting on a PRO device for pedestal (extendable, flange bottom) with a base adapter is
carried out in the same way. In this case, instead of the bottom cover shown in the figure, use the base adapter and apply
2.5 Nm torque for associated screws.

1. Place the USB keyboard on the keyboard tray

tray with 4 screws M4x10 and torque 1.5 Nm.

Mounting the USB extension with M20 cable gland
Procedure
The following procedure schematically presents how to mount the USB extension with M20 cable gland to the keyboard tray.
1. Unscrew the cover of a rear M20 opening of
the keyboard tray.
2.
Guide the USB connector of the USB
extension through the M20 opening of the
keyboard tray.
3.
Tighten the nut on the external thread of the
M20 cable gland with a torque of 10 Nm.
4.
To connect a USB device, remove the cover
cap of the USB extension and connect a
suitable USB device.
If you connect a USB device with IP6x
connector to the USB socket of the USB
extension, use a torque of 8 Nm when
screwing the USB connector and USB socket.
