When a part of cable had any damage, cut the cable end and re-try it. After strip, turn the braid shield and drain wire on to outside of the outer jacket. The aluminum polymer film has to be removed. At that time, please be careful not to add thermal damage etc. to each part of the plug HSG assembly and the cable. When the parts had thermal damage etc. that might ruin the product function, please re-try it using new parts. Fig.6 shows the soldering conditions. At this time, note the following three points. @ The plug housing assembly has been surely bumped to internal projection of the front shell. @ The insulations must not diffuse. (Refer to Fig.10 dimension @) @ The braid shield and the drain wire must be turned beautifully on the outer jacket. When these items are imperfect, it may not be installed correctly. Crimp of this product connects the shell with the cable shield electrically, and plays the role to maintain the cable mechanically. The cable retention force that is specified by USB SPEC is 40N. Please confirm a proper value of the crimp height beforehand to obtain this retention force. A proper value of the crimp height is different according to the cable used. The correlation data of the crimp height and the cable retentivity is obtained adjusting based on the obtained value by repeating an enough frequency examination. Please set a proper value of the crimp height including the tolerance from acquired data.
