FlexLine SPEC 80 Product Facts n Reduced weight Flexibility n Low outgassing n Function over a broad temperature range n Flammability n Arc track resistance n Resistance to atomic oxygen n Radiation resistance n High quality and reliability n Ease of fabrication (into Harnesses due to flexibility) n Agency approvals n -65C up to +150C [-85F up to +302F] n Small size n 600V rating n Optional high strand count for increased flexibility n Variety of insulation/jacket options n Dual wall and single wall options n Easy to install n Mechanically tough n Compliance with FAR 25 flammability requirements n Resistance to harsh fluids & solvents per MIL-W-22759 n Applications FlexLine wire (also known as SPEC 80) is insulated with a flexible modified radiation cross-linked ETFE polymer. It has a temperature rating of -65C to +150C [-85F to +302F] continuous using silver copper conductor, and combines the easy handling of our SPEC 55 wire and cable with additional flexibility. FlexLine wire is used in a broad range of applications, from Hook-up wire to Power Cables. FlexLine wire constructions provide maximum flexibility similar to the MIL-W-22759 products in Mechanical, Chemical and Thermal properties. 9 Wire and Cable Available in: Americas Europe Asia Pacific n n n 9-25 Catalog 1654025 Revised 12-04 www.tycoelectronics.com Dimensions are in millimeters and inches unless otherwise specified.
