The receiver operates at SONET OC-1, OC-3, OC-12 and OC-48 rates as well as at ITU-T SDH rates. The receiver consists of either InGaAs Avalanche photodetector or PIN photodetector, transimpedance amplifier, high voltage dc-dc converter for APD and a multi rate clock and data recovery IC(CDR) . The receiver is compatible with the MSA specification, which has a space-saving 24pin DIP package.
