Internal metal electrodes are added at each end and a connection is made between them using a resistive metal glaze; the approximate resistor values are dependent on the composition of the glaze. Basic specification The resistive layer is covered with a translucent protective coat. Standard values of nominal resistance are taken from the E24 series for resistors with a tolerance of 0/-20% and 0/-30%. PROTECTION OF LASER CUT With epoxy-phenol lacquers, epoxy resins or silicon alkyd-resins.
