Scotch® Super 33+™ Tape is a 7-mil thick, premium-grade, all-weather, vinyl electrical tape that is
designed to provide electrical insulation for cable splices up to 600V. The flame-retardant tape
withstands a temperature range of 0 to 221 degrees F (-18 to 105 degrees C).
Scotch® Super 33+ Electrical Tape a black, 7 mil tape, on a 1 inch core, combines the flexibility of a
PVC backing with excellent electrical insulating properties to provide primary electrical insulation for
splices up to 600V. Abrasion-, corrosion-, and UV-resistant, it makes an excellent protective jacketing
for high-voltage cables and wire harnessing. UL Listed and CSA Certified, it resists alkalis and acids, and
is flame-retardant. Excellent all-weather performance in cold to 0ºF (-18ºC) or hot to 220ºF (105ºC).

I needed to make a wiring harness for my project car. I protected the wire with
plastic wire loom and used 3m 33+ tape to wrap around it every few inches.
Looks better than factory! I might redo some of the factory wiring harnesses
with this tape. Its exceptional and will stand up in an engine bay through
summer and winter for years.

All pupose go to electrical tape. I don't buy junk tape and this certainly isn't. It's
one of the many good quality scotch/3m tapes that I trust .

33, and 88 are the only vinyl tape I buy, and prefer to use. I am a retired
construction electrician, and still look for those if buying tape. Thank you. Ken

As an electrician I use 33 almost everyday. I've used other brands and styles
before but nothing compares at all. It stays flexible and sticky in the cold. It
stretches and flexes to make nice tight wraps when pulling wire. If I open older
electrical boxes that have grouped wires or taped connectors for added
protection, I can usually tell if it was 33 mainly because its still on there
because it doesn't dry out.

33 works. Plain and simple. It's a fantastic all-purpose electrical tape. It's great
in the toughest conditions: heat, oil, moisture, dirt. Holds up and doesn't get
brittle or gooey. Use it every single day in a paper mill environment and I won't
use anything else.
