NO RIPPLE ~
NO INDUCED PMD ~
LOW DISPERSION ~
HIGHLY REPRODUCIBLE AND CONSISTENT RESPONSE ~
ITF Gain Flattening Filters, based on ITF All-Fiber®technology, can be custom-designed
to flatten almost any EDFA or Raman gain curve. With a combination of superior optical
properties and packaging reliability, they are ideally suited for high-performance
next generation systems such as 40 Gbps and ultra-long haul transmission systems.
Through advanced design and manufacturing techniques, ITF has perfected the tapered
fiber filter technology to produce clean filters with smooth spectral response maintaining
the inherent properties of the optical fiber. As the integrity of the optical signal
is preserved without any discontinuity or degradation throughout the optical path,
ITF Gain Flattening Filters have unique advantages, such as low insertion loss
and polarization dependent loss, negligible dispersion and back reflection
and no induced polarization mode dispersion.
