WATERPROOF TRANSDUCERS
Knowles waterproof speaker designs are achieved by sealing the speaker element inside of a waterproof bellows assembly. The assembly can be panel mounted, used outdoors,
and for repeated submersion. Design characteristics include no loss of performance after immersion in fteen meters of water, corrosion resistance, impervious to explosive
decompression, and high resistance to mechanical shock. Knowles' waterproof microphones are designed to survive complete immersion in water. Form factors include a miniature
design that can be immersed in water to a depth of one meter, and a bellows design for depths to 15 meters. The miniature design offers excellent noise canceling performance that
is ideal for underwater sensors and instrumentation.

DAMPERS
Damping elements are used between the receiver outlet
and the ear canal to smooth out the frequency response.
Various acoustical resistances and sizes are available.
Features:
• Damping plug has metal ferrule housing, 2.08mm nominal
O.D. by 1.78mm nominal I.D. for mounting to acoustic tubing
• Damping screens are acoustic cloth screens only for insertion
inside acoustic tubing
• Other resistances or diameters available upon request
