RS-232 models are available in two-, four- or eight-port versions, while the RS-422
models are offered with four or eight ports. The RS-422 solutions enable users to transmit
signals over greater distances and at higher speeds than standard RS-232 communications
and are generally immune to electrical interference and surges. These benefits make the
RS-422 solution a smart choice for industrial and manufacturing applications as well as
widespread point-of-sale operations.
The AccelePort Xe supports a broad spectrum of operating systems, including SCO®,
Linux®and Microsoft® Windows®. Other device drivers can be downloaded from the Digi
