Highly Thermally Conductive RTV Product Code: TCR / TCRGUNB TECHNICAL DATA SHEET PRODUCT DESCRIPTION Electrolube TCR is a one component, low odour, high strength RTV with a very high degree of thermal conductivity. It is a 100% solids material (solvent free) with a very wide temperature range making it ideal for a wide range of uses particularly engineering applications where its non-corrosive properties are of critical importance. Electrolube TCR combines the properties of silicone rubber pads with those of a conventional heat transfer paste, and can be used as a low bond strength adhesive, sealant or gasketing compound. Electrolube TCR GUN is a dispensing method for use with TCR75S. The product fits inside the dispensing unit; a trigger is pulled which forces out the product. This is a very easy and accurate dispensing method for TCR75S. PRODUCT USE Electrolube TCR is applied between components that may overheat and heat sinks to ensure rapid heat transfer. The high bond strength allows use prior to soldering for SM components. FEATURES * Maximum continuous operating temperature = 230C, Peak = 250C * Excellent thermal conductivity, 1.79 W/m.K * Good electrical insulation characteristics. * Components operate at thermal equilibrium thus ensuring uniform performance throughout the temperature range. * Remains flexible and elastic at high temperatures. Certificate No. FM 32082 Highly Thermally Conductive RTV - Page 2 APPLICATION TECHNICAL DATA SHEET Surfaces must be clean and dry and free from grease, dust and contaminants - use Electrolube Ultrasolve (ULS) for this application. Ensure that solvents have completely evaporated before application. TCR is a moisture curing system. Therefore relative humidities above 50% are preferred for curing. The use of elevated temperatures will not increase the speed of cure and is not recommended.
