Negative temperature coefficient thermistors decrease in resistance as temperature increases. Temp. coefficients range
from Ð2%/¡C to Ð5%/¡C @ 25¡C. Max. Operating Temperature: 150¡C+. Max. Temperature: 125¡C.
PTC Thermistors
Positive temperature coefficient thermistors are characterized by an extremely large
resistance change in a small temperature span. Temperature at which resistance begins to
increase rapidly is referred to as the transition temperature (¡C).

extremely stable in applications up to 204¡C (400¡F).

Type MA100
Thermistors
The MA100 Series interchangeable thermistor offers small size, close
tolerances and excellent stability. Originally designed for medical applications,
they are excellent choices for any temperature measurement application where
temperatures will not exceed 50¡C. MA100GG103B: 0.70" OD, kynar wire
insulation. MA100BF103B: 0.30" OD, heavy isomid wire insulation. Tolerance:
35¡C to 39¡C Ñ ±0.1¡C; 0¡C to 50¡C Ñ ±0.2¡C. Quantity price breaks are

NTC Type C100
Thermistors
Well suited for temperature measurement, control and compensation
applications, low cost makes them ideal for high volume applications such as
energy management systems, small appliance controls, automotive and
industrial equipment controls. These units exhibit faster still air response times
than comparable glass probe devices while maintaining a relatively high
dissipation constant and are manufactured to closer resistance tolerances.
Maximum Power Level: 0.075 watt at 25¡C (derating to zero watt at 100¡C).
Dissipation Constant In Still Air: 1 mW/¡C. Thermal Time Constant In Still Air:
10 sec. Although suitable for applications in the temperature range of Ð80¡C to
+150¡C, best stability is achieved at temperatures not exceeding 105¡C. Quantity

Surface Mount NTC Thermistors
These ceramic chip thermistors are in EIA case styles 1206 and 0805. The NB
series has nickel plated electrodes with a solder plated covering.The NHQ and
NHQM series have nickel plated palladium silver electrodes with a solder plated
covering. The NB series can be ordered with nickel plated palladium silver
electrodes with a solder plated covering as a special order item. The ceramic
between the electrodes is glass covered. Applications include industrial,
consumer, telecommunications, data processing, temperature measurement,
control and compensation. Temperature Range: Ð40¡C to +125¡C.
Resistance Tolerance: 25¡C is ±10%. Quantity price breaks are available.

PTC Type YM120
Thermistors
The YM series is designed to operate at main voltages
and is intended for use in over-current, over-voltage,
and direct over-temperature applications. The leads
are tinned copper and the device is coated with a black
silicone resin. This series offers a wide range of
operating current levels and can operate up to
