An optical fiber cords is constructed by covering the optical fiber core with the buffer around the optical fiber being covered with
the primary coat as illustrated below. Also, this optical fiber core is provided with Kevler fiber reinforced plastic (a tensile
strength material) being covered with the jacket around.

Sort of the constructions of optical fiber cords
The secondary sheath diameters are sorted into ø2mm and ø2.8mm.
Certain cores are not covered with the secondary sheath.
Optical fibers can be connected to each other by the permanent connection method or removable connector connection
method. The optical fiber connection is subjected to various connection loss factors, such as the axial misalignment of fibers,
angular deviations, space deviations, incomplete end faces, etc. Optical fiber connectors are required to have highly precise
sizes to coincide the optical fiber cores with each other accurately. Optical fiber connectors are indispensable for connecting
between optical fibers and various devices as the components of optical communication systems.
