Description
The Janus line of Terminus plug-In modems are footprint
compatible, GPS enabled, plug-in terminals for use in GSM/
GPRS, EDGE, CDMA, UMTS, HSPA+, EV-DO communication
networks, and also Wi-Fi connectivity. They were specifically
designed to provide customers with cost effective products
that are easily integrated into new and existing designs,
require limited customer certification resources, and are
completely interchangeable to allow for maximum network
flexibility while removing the worry of product obsolescence.
Each unit will be a certified end product with a power
supply and 5.0V operation. The GSM, UMTS and HSPA
modems will also include a SIM Card socket. To allow for
easy integration, this terminal is available in an open frame
option only.
The Terminus UMTS864CF is the UMTS communication
modem of the Plug-In series. This 3.5G modem provides M2M
communication over UMTS networks.
