Laureate Cable Assemblies
Pre-built cables so that users don’t have to build their own.
Cables can be used for programming and for data transfer.
CBL01
Custom cable to connect the RS232 port of a PC to a Laureate
meter with the RS232 option board. Can be used with CBL02
to connect the USB port of a PC to a Laureate meter with an
RS232 option board. Note that all Laureate communication ports
are optically isolated.

CBL02
USB-to-RS232 adapter cable. The combination of CBL02 and
CBL01 connects the USB port of a PC to a Laureate meter with
an RS232 option board. The combination of CBL02 and CBL04
connects the USB port of a PC to the RS232 port of a Laureate
LT transmitter (also see CBL07). Note that all Laureate commu-
nication ports are optically isolated.

CBL03
Straight-through 6-wire data cable, not a 4-wire telephone cable
or crossover cable. Allows the dual RJ11 jacks of the RS485
option board of Laureate meters (digital interface ordering option
2) to be daisy chained and be addressed digitally with no need
for a hub. Available in 1 and 7 foot lengths. Note that all Laureate
communication ports are optically isolated.

CBL04
Connects the RS232 port of a PC to the RS232 port of a Laur-

the USB port of a Laureate meter with the USB option board.
Note that all Laureate communication ports are optically isolated.

CBL06
USB-to-RS485 adapter cable for meters. Connects the USB
port of a PC to a Laureate meter with the RS485 option board

duplex. Use of CBL03 cables allows up to 31 Laureate meters to
be daisy chained and be addressed digitally with no need for a
hub. Note that all Laureate communication ports are optically
isolated.
