The 973EX Series is approved for hazardous locations. It may be made suitable for
explosive atmospheres with the application of special explosion proof seal fittings
and conduit as required by the National Electrical Code (NEC), Article 500.
MICRO SWITCH does not supply these fittings and conduit. It is the responsibility of the
purchaser or installer to supply the required material.
