Along with high ripple currents and low ESRs, the 81DA operates in a temperature range from 40C to +105C. For very high capacitance requirements, these capacitors are available in case sizes up to 40x 80mm. Options include four terminal configurations, depending on case size, including the standard 2-pin snap-in. The standard 81DA capacitors are non-solvent proof and are not recommended when halogenated cleaning solvents are used. If solvent proof capacitors are required, this series is offered with an optional epoxy end-seal. Refer to the Mini-Glossary for recommended cleaning conditions. For new designs, refer to the KMH series. Capacitance change: < 15% from initial measurement ESR change :<1.5x initial specified limit Leakage current : < initial specified limit Shelf Test The following specifications shall be satisfied when the capacitors are restored to +25C after exposing them for 500 hours at +85C without voltage applied. The rated voltage shall be applied to the capacitors for a minimum of 30 minutes, at least 24 hours and not more than 48 hours before the measurements.
