The CPE series is built around 3 shell sizes (4, 7 and 12 contacts) each one
consisting of a plug and a receptacle. The particularity of the CPE series is
that it offers a wide range of standard accessories to be used on both plug
or receptacle.
Easy to use, and quick to implement, this small connector is recommended
for all types of control/command applications.
La gamme CPE s’articule autour de 3 tailles de boîtiers distincts (4, 7 et 12
contacts) comprenant chacune une fiche et une embase.
La gamme se caractérise par un choix d’accessoires d’adaptation et de
contacts pouvant se monter indifférement sur la fiche ou l’embase.
De mise en oeuvre rapide, léger et de faible encombrement, ce connecteur
est une interface efficace pour toutes applications de commande ne nécessi-
tant pas de caractéristiques mécaniques sévères.

- Dénuder le câble d’une longueur de 6 mm
- Positionner le contact mâle ou femelle dans la pince à
sertir de telle sorte que la lame de positionnement soit
dans la fente du contact (schéma 1). Les pattes sertis-
sables sont alors en face des mâchoires de la pince.
- Introduire le câble dénudé dans le contact (schéma 2)
- Sertir en fermant la pince jusqu’au relachement de la
crémaillère
- Strip the cable of a length of 0.236 inches (6 mm)
- Insert pin or socket contact into crimping tool and place
the cable positioner into the contact bucket as shown
on schema 1 - The contact bucket will then be correctly
placed
- Insert stripped wire into contact as shown on schema 2
- Crimp the contact until the tool dies are closed and
the ratchet releases. Check terminal to ensure that all
strands are contained
