ThePulsarEdgeisafamilyofcontrollersthatfunctionasanetworkinterfacecontroller(NIC)andasafull-
featuredpowersystemcontrollerfortheJ2007001familyofCompactPowerLine(CPL)shelves.Itsthinmodular
plug-informfactorminimizesshelfspaceconsumptionallowingmaximumpowermoduleanddistribution
capabilitiesprovidingafeaturesetfoundincontrollersusedinlargerpowersystemsrangingupto20kamps.
TheCP841AcontrollerisspecicmemberoftheGalaxyPulsarEdgefamily.
ThePulsarEdgeCP841Acontrollerisutilizedinbulkpowerapplicationsindatacentersandenterprise
applications.EthernetconnectivitywithSNMPfacilitatesremotenetworkmanagementaccessthroughitsfront-
accessibleRS232andisaidedbytheEasyView2graphicaluserinterfaceaswellasawebinterface.
Asabatteryplantcontroller,itprovidesacompletesetoffeaturesoverahalf-duplexRS485bustomonitorandcontrolrectiers,batteries,and
distribution.AexiblesetofcongurableinputsallowtheCP841Atomonitorawidevarietyofsystemequipmentandincorporateappropriatestate
informationenablingacentralizedpointofmanagement.
Thecontrollerutilizesstandardnetworkmanagementprotocolsallowingforadvancednetworksupervisionfromstandard.GECriticalPower
