RJ45 K6 Jack

The 3MTM VolitionTM K6 jack is a unique and simple Cat. 6 hardware component (TIA/EIA-568 B.2 and ISO/IEC 11801 2nd

Edition), utilizing the universally accepted keystone mounting. It offers a quick and reliable Cat. 6 connection as the eight

copper conductors are effortlessly terminated in a single operation without tools.

The K6 jack is the core product of 3M's Cat. 6 copper structured

cabling solution, offering superior performance over Cat. 6 link

standards.

Tool-less jack:

Accepts both solid conductors from AWG 26 to 22

and stranded conductors:

- Compatible with all cables on the market and enables

"jack to plug" cables to be manufactured using stranded

conductors (for use in open ofﬁce architectures)

Integral shutter:

- Increased dust protection, especially during

installation or in a dirty environment

- No additional shuttering required on faceplates

- Allows direct mounting into ﬂoor boxes

- Protects jacks in the patch panel
