Introduction
Vishay’s CLCC-6 ceramic package for high-power LEDs maintains the highest-possible heat dissipation while providing the
highest performance and reliability to meet the demands of power-to-optical efficiency ratios. An LED in the CLCC-6 is the
device of choice for applications where stability, performance, and reliability cannot be compromised.
Its high-efficiency heat dissipation (18 W/mK) makes the CLCC-6 essential for clustered or matrix designs where the
cumulative heat should be taken into serious consideration. This excessive heat must be kept at a minimum to reduce
profound wavelength deviations that could lead to a severe reduction in luminous intensity and homogeneity, among other
unwanted effects.
