Sub-D Modules
Interface between multiwire flat cables with up to 64 conductors and discrete wires. No
special tools are required. Supplied with short strain relief ejector latches (long latches
available). Terminal blocks are individually marked to correspond to the numbers on the
header pins. 250 VAC, 3 A; 22-12 AWG.
Ribbon Cable to Discrete Wire Modules
Mount standard optocoupler input/output (I/O) modules in a high density arrangement for
logic output to field devices, or for input of field data to the controller. Altech I/O carriers can
accept up to 16 industry standard 0.6" (15.24 mm) I/O modules in any combination Ñ
input, output, AC or DC from most manufacturers. 1, 2, and 4 isolated position versions with
5, 15 and 24 VDC logic; and 4, 8 and 16 bussed (logic power) versions with 5 to 24 VDC.
Wire individually labeled diodes into existing circuits for freewheeling, DC inductive kick
suppression (commutating), reverse DC polarity protection, etc. Used bussed diodes for
distribution of logic VCC or ground, or gather and decouple electrical signals for lamp
testing or collective fault messages. Use as commutating diodes across inductive loads
such as DC relays, solenoid valves, actuator magnets, etc. to suppress voltage surges.
Standard modules include series connection diode circuits in 1 A versions, and diode gates
with bussed anodes or cathodes. DIN rail mount, panel mount and 3 A diodes available.
Can be ordered as component carriers without diodes. Rated Current: 1 A.
