This RJ45 patch cable comes with illuminated RJ45 Ethernet
plugs. The plugs are very easy and comfortable to identify
each other over distances up to 100 meters, e.g. in clusters
of racks in data centres facilitate enormously the allocation
of ports.
Each RJ45 connector has an integrated LED which is illumi-
nated by a detector. It works in anyway if the connectors
are plugged in or not. That function has no influence on the
Ethernet data transmission.
The new Smart patch cables expand HARTING’s Automation
IT generic cabling system. The family is marked by an unique
design of the two part boot, called dual-boot design. This of-
fers a very easy robust handling and bending protection.

These clips are suitable for colour coding of the HARTING
Ha-VIS Smart patch cable as well as RJ Industrial® 10G.
The colour clips provide an RFID option for automatic
detection and storage of the patch cable ID. Every order
number contains a package of 50 pieces.
