browsing- N2784A

and N2785A

The N2784A and N2785A probe po-

sitioners provide quick and stable X-Y

positioning to PC boards and devices

that require hands-free probing.

Unlike other probe positioners that

require multiple adjustments to lock

the probe holder into position, the

N2784A and N2785A need only a “lift

and drop” motion to position the probe

in place. The weight stabilization tech-

nique used in the probe holder keeps

constant pressure at the probing point

so the probe tip stays in position even

when the target board is bumped.

The N2784A and N2785A probe posi-

tioners are compatible with most

Keysight Technologies, Inc.scope

probes, including InfiniiMax single-

ended and differential browsers.

They are also compatible with various

probes manufactured by other ven-

dors. The N2784A comes with a single

positioning arm, while the N2785A

comes with two positioning arms.

Low-cost two-legged

positioner - N2786A

The N2786A is a low-cost, easy-to-

use XY axis probe holder for general

purpose probing applications. The

two-legged positioner is designed to

be easy-to-use - the positioner itself

has no controls to position it in place.

This positioner has three different sized

apertures into which various sized

probes can be placed. All of Keysight’s

2.5mm and 5mm passive probes such

as N2870A-76A, 10073C, 10074C,

N2862A, N2863A, 1165A etc. and most

other passive probes in the market can

be used with the N2786A positioner.

positioning

solution - N2787A

The N2787A is a 3D probe positioner

with a flexible, articulating arm that

can be quickly positioned in a wide

variety of configurations. At the same

time it also allows fine-adjustment to

the probe location to obtain stable

contact. This universal probe holder

fits most Keysight passive and active

probes, including InfiniiMax single-

ended or differential browsers.
