OPLINK’s 1480nm pump combiner (MWDM-14) is based on thin-film filter technology
and metal bonding micro-optics packaging. This device is designed to provide efficient
combing of two pump sources at 1480nm for Erbium Doped Fiber Amplifiers (EDFAs).
It is ideal for increasing the pump power for optical amplifiers. All OPLINK products are
epoxy-free in the optical path. It is used in high-power applications in fiber amplifiers.
