The transitions are made of a rugged, thermally stabilized, modified polyolefin and factory-coated with a thermoplastic adhesive sealant. As a result, they offer excellent water sealing, mechanical abrasionprotection, corrosion-resistance, weatherproofing, and electrical insulation. The transitions replace tapes, epoxies, and grease in applications involving cable breakouts, transitions, and terminations. Features/Benefits Available in: 4-118 Molded Parts Watertight. Easy installation, requiring no special skills. Compatibility with polyethylene, PVC, lead, steel, aluminum, standard Navy cable jackets, and copper wire and cable.
