Features:
•The plastic clip is an injection moulded multi-purpose clip and provides an alternative
method of clamping hoses.
•Material: UV and heat stabilised nylon 66.
Characteristics:
The moulded plastic one-piece hose clip is easy to use and produces high integrity clamping with its double row of interlocking teeth.
It can be fitted after the hose is connected and is secured by tightening the jaws of the clip to the required tension. The first teeth of
the clip can be engaged by hand, followed by adjustable pliers or multi-grips until at least 3 teeth are interlocked. The clip may be
released by twisting sideways to disengage the teeth. Again, pliers are quite suitable for this purposes.
The “Herbie Clip” is capable of withstanding up to 200psi on leakage tests over a temperature range <0° through to 105°C. It is non
corrosive under atmospheric conditions and is highly resistant to most chemicals. For high volume usage, special manual and
pneumatic tools have been designed and are available on application.
