The WXD 2 Soldering and Desoldering Station and the WXDP 120 High-Power Desoldering Iron.
No more tedious cleaning
| The extended shaft in the new XDS
series nozzles deposits molten solder directly into the solder cartridge and
when the time comes to replace the nozzle the suction path is replaced.
Therefore the time consuming task of cleaning the tool is no longer
required, production time is increased and costs reduced.
Extended life
The high power element with fast response means that lower
operating temperatures can be used (380 °C) and when this
is coupled with the standby mode nozzle life is considerably
increased.
Huge energy savings
WX tools have an internal motion sensor. This signals to the control unit if the tool
is in use or in its safety rest, so that power is only taken when it’s needed.
Ultra-short heating-up time
The desoldering iron will heat from 50 °C to 350 °C in 35 seconds and if the standby mode
is in operation, this could be as short as 20 seconds. A blue LED light ring on the tool handle
gives visual indication of the temperature condition. It will flash as the tool heats and show a
steady light when the operating temperature is reached.

uses Fast Response technology.
User-friendly handling
An ergonomic, soft grip handle with an integrated finger switch for applying the vacuum
lets both left and right handed operators work comfortably and efficiently. The short
distance between the solder cartridge and the handle prevents the tool twisting.
Quick replacement
Thanks to ingenious mountings, the suction nozzle and solder
cartridge can be changed quickly and easily – without the risk
of burning or tricky replacement work.

Multi connectivity
The maximum power output of 255 W from the WX2 control unit
permits the use all WX series tools. 200 W from a single output or
2 x 120 W if dual outputs are used. The WX connection cable can
connect the contol unit to external devices such as hot plates and
fume extraction units.
External compressed air supply
High pressure compressed air passing through a venturi
will produce a constant high vacuum.
Intuitive operation
A straightforward and multi-lingual menu navigation
system keeps familiarisation times to a minimum.
The turn-and-click wheel allows intuitive operation.
Internal data storage
Key settings are stored directly onto a memory in the hand
tools. This enables WX series tools to be interchanged with
WX series control units without the need to enter contol data
into the power unit. Saving time consuming set up.
