DESCRIPTION
The PSRDAxx-4 Series are low capacitance mul-line steering diode/transient voltage suppressor arrays that provides
board level protecon for standard TTL and CMOS bus line applicaons against the damaging eects of ESD, terary
lightning and switching transients.
The PSRDAxx-4 Series has a peak pulse power rang of 500 Was for an 8/20µs waveshape. This device series meets
the IEC 61000-4-2, IEC 61000-4-4 and IEC 61000-4-5 requirements.

APPLICATION INFORMATION

Circuit connecvity is as follows:
Pins 1, 2, 4, 6 and 7 connected to the datalines.
Pin 5 and 8 connected to ground.
Pins 2 and 3 connected to the databus.
CIRCUIT BOARD RECOMMENDATIONS
Circuit board layout is crical for electromagnec compability protecon. The following guidelines are recommended:
The protecon device should be placed near the input terminals or connectors, the device will divert the transient current
immediately before it can be coupled into the nearby traces.
The path length between the TVS device and the protected line should be minimized.
All conducve loops including power and ground loops should be minimized.
The transient current return path to ground should be kept as short as possible to reduce parasic inductance.
Ground planes should be used whenever possible. For mullayer PCBs, use ground vias.
