The XRD8799 is a flexible, easy to use, precision 10-Bit Analog-to-Digital Converter with an 8 channel MUX that operates over a wide range of input and sampling conditions. The XRD8799 can operate with a pulsed on demand conversion operation or a continuous pipeline operation for sampling rates up to 2MSPS. This application board combines a proven PC board layout with optimized analog and digital interface circuitry to satisfy the requirements needed in evaluating devices of this type. The XRD8799 contains the device being tested, standard 100-mil spaced headers for the output data, and I/O headers for a flexible user interface. SYSTEM CONFIGURATION-LAB SETUP The XRD8799EVAL application board is set up as a common test circuit. Figure 1. shows a block diagram of the default test configuration. See Figures 2., 3., and 4. for schematic pages and circuit details. Power Vref(+) R3 Output Header Input Amplifier 11 AIN1 XRD8799 AIN2 . . . R2 R1 Vref(-) Direct Inputs AIN8 Figure 1.
