Product Description
3M™ Lapping Films 562X and 566X are 0.5 micron
Cerium Oxide mineral coated on 3.0 mil polyester film
backing. They are used in lapping or polishing of
various substrates.

Storage and Shelf Life
The recommended product shelf life is 24 months from
date of shipment from the manufacturing location when
stored in the original product container and packaging
materials and at 10-32°C (20-90°F) and 30-70% RH.
When stored in conditions as described above, the
abrasive has not been shown to degrade with time.
