10-BIT BUS EXCHANGE SWITCH
DESCRIPTION:
The QS3L2384 provides a set of ten high-speed CMOS TTL-compatible
bus switches. The Bus Enable (BE) signals turn the switches on. Two bus
enable signals are provided, one for each of the upper and lower five bits
of the two 10-bit buses. The QS3L2384 adds an internal series resistor with
each switch to reduce reflection noise in high speed applications. When
closed, the switch acts as the source (series) termination for the driver
connected to it.
The QS3L2384 is characterized for operation at -40°C to +85°C.

4. The bus s wi tch contributes no propagation delay ot her than the RC delay of the ON resistance of the swit ch and the load capaci tance. Since this
time c onstant is m uch smaller than the rise and fall times of t ypical drivi ng signals, it adds very li ttle propagation delay to the system. Propagation
delay of t he bus switch, when used in a system, is determined by the driv i ng circuit on the dri ving side of t he switch and it s i nteraction wit h the load
on the driven side.
