SIGNAL50 Warning Tower Lights
from the J. Auer company are the
perfect compliment to Sprecher +
Schuh’s world class industrial control
product line. High grade, heavy duty
and comprehensive, this 50mm space
saving line is also flexible and extreme-
ly easy to assemble and install.
Rugged construction for
industrial applications
Heavy duty industrial polycarbonate is
used to construct all light modules and
bases for the SIGNAL50 line. A stainless
steel, pole-mount base, set on a zinc die-
cast metal foot is also available. The
entire line meets UL Type 4 / 4X / 13
and IP65 guidelines for use indoors or
out. No other manufacturer of competi-
tive product offers this extensive range of
environmental approvals.
Over 100 combinations of
lenses, voltages and
illumination types
Variety and interchangeability are
standard with the SIGNAL50 line. Six
lens colors are available (green, red,
amber, blue, yellow and clear), more
than any other major manufacturer.
Light modules are offered in four dif-
ferent voltages including 12 & 24V
AC/DC, 120V AC and 240V AC.
Illumination types include incandes-
cent, LED and strobe. A special flash-
ing LED is also available.

modules available with the SIGNAL50
line, a new Piezo sound module is now
available. Choose either a Single Cir-
cuit, Selectable Tone Module (single
or pulsing tone) or a Two Circuit
Sound Module, used in applications
where two types of audible alert are
required to indicate different levels of
machine status. Voltages include 12 &
24V AC/DC and 120 & 240V AC.

Signal 50 Warning Tower Lights
Mounting bases for any
installation
Three standard bases are offered, in-
cluding surface mount, pole mount,
and side mounting, for vertical equip-
ment surfaces and walls.
Two different Pole Mount Bases are
available, including the standard alu-
minum pole with polycarbonate foot
or a stainless steel pole with zinc, die-
cast foot. All poles are available in
seven lengths (5, 10, 25, 40, 50, 60 &
80cm). They may also be cut to a
specific length if required.
A unique junction box effectively adds
three more mounting base choices.
This polycarbonate housing provides
wiring space and a conduit external to
the equipment on which the SIG-
NAL50 is attached. The junction box
is used with the Pole Mount Base and
comes in three versions. The first type
screws directly to the mounting sur-
face. The second type has a strong
magnet bottom for a screwless attach-
ment and the third secures to the side
mount bracket for vertical mount
applications.
To complete the customizing of your
SIGNAL50 Tower Light, bases and
top caps may be ordered in either gray
or black.
Easy assembly, changeout
and maintenance
Up to five modules of the same voltage
may be combined in any order with a
simple twist of the wrist. Each light
module has a bayonet locking system
and finger protection that allows it to
be “hot swapped” if necessary. Just
untwist the module needing mainte-
nance and the other modules stay lit.
With reassembly of the Warning Tow-
er, all modules are under power again,
automatically. To prevent unautho-
rized opening, optional set screws may
be used to lock each module in place.

The MICRO IV strobe family is an enhanced version of the MICROSTROBE®featuring a power supply which
can operate from a very wide input voltage range of 12 thru 80VDC or 16 thru 24VAC. The supply has a
regulated output so that the lamp brightness and flash remain constant when operated over the rated input
voltage range. The power supply is potted in polyurethane for the ultimate in protection from moisture and
vibration. The enclosure is all Lexan®, and the plug-in lamp is field replaceable. All units are polarity protected
and have built-in filters to protect against radio interference and spike voltages. The MICRO IV is covered by a
10 year warranty (described below). The MICRO IV and its guard are UL component recognized for type E, EE,
and ES electric industrial trucks covered by UL standard #583 (UL File #AU 2049).
