EMI Beads on Leads

These ferrite devices consist of beads assembled on #22 AWG tinned copper wire

(95/5 tin/lead coating) and are useful in automated circuit assembly. They are supplied in

type 43 material. Impedance increases with ÒCÓ dimension listed below. Impedance values

listed below are controlled to ±20% @ 100 MHz.

These 6 hole ferrite beads wound with various configurations offer very high impedance in a

small package. Supplied in high resistivity broadband material and high frequency 61 material

wound with #24 AWG tinned copper wire (95/5 tin/lead coating) maximum suppression is

obtained between 25 and 250 MHz. Wire Length: 1.500" (38 mm) nominal.

These surface mountable ferrite beads in type 43 and 44 material are constructed with a

solid flat copper conductor having a minimum 90/10 tin/lead coating thickness of

200 µ inch. They offer a high current carrying capacity with low dc resistance compared

with plated beads. Impedance values listed below are controlled to ±20% @ 100 MHz.

These surface mount multilayer ferrite chip beads are designed to reduce noise above the

operating frequencies in standard EIA chip sizes. They offer 100% controlled impedance and

DCR. The excellent solderability characteristics are suitable for both wave and reflow solder

processes. They are easy to handle by surface mount technology equipment. Used to

suppress EMI in computer products peripherals, cell phones, digital communication

equipment, television and VCRs.
