A unique one-step system for reliable splicing, the 3M Solder Splice Connector
represents a breakthrough in wire splicing and connecting technology. In one
easy step, multiple wires can be soldered, insulated and environmentally
sealed. This system does not require a crimp tool, just a standard heat gun
designed for solder-type connectors. The 3M Solder Splice is ideal for harness
fabrication in a variety of industries. Series 200X is insulated with a flame
retardant, heat shrinkable sleeve of 3MÕs new flexible THV fluoropolymer.
Series 100X has an outer layer tube of tinted, translucent, polyolephin, heat
shrinkable tubing lined with hot melt sealant, which provides both insulation
and a moisture seal.
