ISHIZUKA ELECTRONICS CORP VRD 48E D MM 4883171 0000011 TOS MMIZKA 7-62-/} VRD is a new type of transient voltage suppressor used for protecting electronic circuits from surge voltage and thus preventing breakdown. VRD possesses superior surge suppression characteristics, such as an extremely short response time, very low clamping voltage, and high surge capacity. Unlike metal oxide varistors, VRD does not have characteristics change with surge variations within the rated capacity. This feature comprises another superior characteristics of the VRD as Electrical characteristics Figure 5 shows the electrical characteristics.
