Revised April 1999 LVT Family Introduction Fairchild Semiconductor's LVT is optimized for off-board driving applications and offers mixed 3V-5V capability by providing 5V over voltage tolerance on both the inputs and outputs. LVT is fabricated on an advanced BiCMOS process and has maximum propagation delays similar to ABT. LVT consists of octal and 16-bit functions and provides bushold on the inputs. Features Benefits 5V tolerant inputs and outputs. Interfaces to 5V and/or 3V devices. High +64/-32 mA output drive Drives large loads, backplanes, memory arrays, etc. High speed (3.5 ns max propagation delay) High speed for off-board driving applications. Bus hold on input, I/O, and control pins. Eliminates the need for pull-up resistors. Power up/down high impedance inputs and outputs. Facilitates power management and live insertion. Octal and 16-bit functions. Wide bit widths for off-board driving applications. (c) 1999 Fairchild Semiconductor Corporation MS000227.prf www.fairchildsemi.com LVT Family Introduction February 1994
