The most remarkable feature is its low voltage operation of 3.3 V, which is very convenient for a combination with 3.3 V-chip sets. For the F081 series PIN-Amplifier modules, the InP pin-photodiode (PD) with monolithically integrated resistors and capacitors is utilized to spontaneously achieve excellent noise immunity with a large dynamic range. The PD technology which enables highspeed operation even with a low bias voltage and the GaAs circuit technology with a low voltage operation are applied to achieve high sensitivity and a stable operation with the single 3.3 V power supply. Differential outputs and photocurrent monitoring functions are available with the 5-lead TO-18 package.
