Description
The FOL0903m series has been designed for use in a wide variety of optical amplifier, such
as EDFAs used in dense wavelength-division-multiplexing (DWDM) systems.
A strained quantum well laser diode chip is integrated with PIN photodiode in a hermetically
sealed 8 pin package.
A 2-lens-system enables output power up to 80 mW in a temperature range of 5°C to 65°C.
This product is currently undergoing the reliability tests required by Telcordia GR-468,
which should be completed by the end of April.
