Newport’s high-performance
benchtop couplers and WDMs
feature no fragile fiber pigtails. The
units mount easily to optical tables
and can withstand frequent handling.
Four strong magnets hold the rugged
package securely onto steel surfaces.
Two countersunk holes, spaced
25 mm/1" apart and compatible with
mounting patterns of optical tables,
provide yet another mounting option.
The lack of fiber pigtails also decreases
the optical path delay between the
entrance and exit ports which is an
attractive feature for ultra-short pulses
and interferometric applications.
These broadband couplers are offered
with FC/PC or FC/APC connectors and
are optimized for operation at 1310 nm,
1550 nm or both 1310 and 1550 nm
(dual window). A 1310/1550 nm mul-
tiplexer is also offered. For other
wavelengths or for coupling ratios
other than the standard 50/50 or
10/90 ratios, please call Newport
Corporation for availability.
