DESCRIPTION
The Model 1451 is a piez oresistive silicon pr essure sensor
packa ged in a surface mount configuration. It is intended for
high volume applications where small size, light weight, low
cos t, and com pat ibi li ty wit h aut o mate d as se mbl y equ ip ment ar e
required.
The pressure sensor is available with a gage or ab solute
pressure sen s in g c h ip that is at ta c h ed to a su rfac e mo u n t ab l e
ceramic substrate. A cap is atta ched to the cera mic subs trate,
protecting the chip and providing the pressure port.
The device s are shi pped i n plast ic ant i-static shipping tubes
for use with automated production equipment. The drawing
sho w s a st an d ard tub e v er sion. Caps are al s o av ai la b l e wi th a
Narrow hole or a large hole to interface with the pressure
media.
