Simply press push-to-fit earplugs into place — there is no roll-down
required for a clean and comfortable fit. The soft foam tips on 3M’s
push-to-fit earplugs quickly conform to the shape of the earcanal, to
help create a noise-reducing seal. Since there is no need to roll these
earplugs down before use, wearing them prompts cleaner insertion.

Specially Formulated Foams
3M™ E-A-R™ Push-ins™ Earplugs are made of patented, innovative
3M™ E-A-Rform™ Foam. Engineered for all-day comfort and protection,
this foam conforms to the shape of the earcanal, helping to create a
noise-reducing seal.
Other 3M push-to-fit earplugs are made of an advanced foam
formulation that adjusts to create a custom seal in the earcanal.
Push-to-fit earplugs are easy to insert, comfortable for extended
wear, and help provide the hearing protection you can expect

Hearing protection shouldn’t be a hassle. The no roll-down designs
of push-to-fit earplugs feature unique handles and grips that help to
simplify hearing protection and promote regulation compliance.
There’s no need to roll down the earplug, so fitting is quick and there’s
a reduced chance of getting grit and grime in the earcanal.
3M™ E-A-Rfit™ Validation System
Take steps to verify the performance of your hearing protectors by
using the E-A-Rfit validation system.
Developed by researchers at E-A-RCalSM Laboratory, our fit testing
system provides quantitative data which helps you determine the
earplugs that will provide the best noise reduction in workplace
situations and environments. It also helps enhance worker training by
reinforcing proper fitting and use of hearing protection. The system
includes free online training and user support, so workers get the
guidance they need to help protect themselves from noise-induced
hearing loss (NIHL).

* NRR Footnote: Research suggests that many users will receive less noise
reduction than indicated by the NRR due to variation in earplug fit and wearing
time. It is recommended that the NRR be reduced by 50% for estimating the
average amount of noise reduction provided.
