Amphenol ACA-B Connectors
with reverse bayonet coupling
The ACA- B is des igned for commercial and Industrial
envir onment s requi ring a rugged ba yonet style conne c-
tor for heav y duty power and sig nal ap plications .
A comp rehensive selection of insert arr angements and acces-
sory hardware configurations are featured to accommodate
heavy-duty, commercial wire and cable.
ACA-B is manufactured in accordance with MIL-DTL-5015 and
VG95234. The insulators are made of high quality polychloro-
prene material and can withstand temperatures of –55 to +125
degree s C. T he rug ged she ll i s made fr om alum in um al lo y and
plated with a variety of finishes to meet any application. Con-
tacts are machined from copper alloy or brass and can be
plated with gold or silver.
Common applications include automation, machine tool, robot-
ics, instrumentation, process control, material handling, and
test and measurement.

To avoid cross-plugging problems in applications requir-
ing the use of mor e than one co nne ctor of th e same siz e
and arrangement, alternate rotations are available as
indicated in the accompanying charts.
As sh own in the diagram b elow, the fr ont face o f the pin
insert is rotated within the shell in a clockwise direction
from the normal shell key. The socket insert would be
rotated counter-clockwise the same number of degrees
in respect to the normal shell key.
