(Erbium Doped Fiber Amplifier) can
be directly affected by the
characteristics of the pump laser
diode. Pump laser specifications are
often adversely affected by
unwanted external reflections
coupling back into the laser cavity,
and by temperature and injection
current fluctuations.
The Alcatel 1998 PSF locks the
emission wavelength of your 980nm
pump laser and provides immunity to
spectral mode hopping due to
changes in temperature, drive
current and optical feedback. Alcatel
Optronics offers 980 pump stabilizer
in singlemode or polarization
maintaining fibers and in different
recoating diameters.

capability, which enables rapid
design to production cycle times.
Through the use of proprietary fiber,
custom-grating designs to meet
